Our Process

1. Receive Drawings From Client

Upon receipt of drawings from potential clients our in house engineers spend a significant amount of time analysing the foundation designs to ensure that we offer our clients a fully optimised foundation solution.

Allot of our projects are jobs where by we have managed to re-design existing concrete or grout projects to take advantage of our Screw Piling technologies’ to deliver significant time and financial savings to our clients.

  • Analysis drawings and compare with geo-technical report to determine the correct founding depth.
  • Complete that analysis or the project to ensure that the correct foundation product is applied, this is stage is completed by a fully accredited structural engineer. If a design change is considered an option at this point existing drawings are marked up to show new foundation layout and calculations are prepared for the new design.
  • Liaise with client and their engineer if there any recommendations that may improve the current design, reduce costs or both

2. Prepare Quotations

Once the design stage has been completed Australian Foundation Systems then prepare a comprehensive quotation to enable the client to fully understand our offer and the benefits associated with it.

The Quotation will cover:

  • A detailed explanation of our Foundation solution
  • The founding depths that we have allowed for in our tender
  • A detailed break up of the costs associated with our quotation and the length of time for which the quotation remains valid
  • Estimated availability at the time of quotation
  • Any addition costs that maybe applied if the actual site conditions vary from the geo-Technical information supplied
  • Any additional cost that may be applicable due to site delays or other unforeseen circumstances.
  • Payment terms and conditions
  • Certifications that will be received by the client upon receipt of full payment

3. Client Order Process – To Site Establishment

Once our quotation has been processed and the negotiation phase has been successful we then begin the process of getting the project prepared for site establishment.

Following are the steps involved in this process.

  • Receive order from client and process
  • Quotation becomes a job and goes into the system
  • Production department liaise with client to schedule contract works
  • All necessary documentation including site OH&S documentation is prepared and submitted to the client for approval. Typically an onsite meeting between our supervisor and a client representative is held prior to site establishment to ensure the project is ready to start and access for machinery is suitable
  • Installation date is confirmed
  • Product is delivered to site

4. Job Installation

Prior to the first Screw Pile being installed there are a number of OH&S compliance procedures that need to be completed.

Once all of the compliance and OH&S requirements have been met relatively simple process of the Screw Pile installation process begins.

  • A full set of installation records and site notes are prepared during the installation project recording each individual Screw Piles as it is installed
  • Site is cleaned and re-instated as much as possible to its original condition.
  • All scrap is either removed from site or placed in bins or designated clean up area provide by client

5. Post Installation Process

After the installation has been completed there are a number of internal process that we complete to ensure all design requirement have been met.
